Olavi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Freds off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Freds gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD#
and Olavi counters with a head kick that drops Freds to the mat! Freds scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Olavi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Freds for as long as he can get away with.#T1##SUB#

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Freds shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Olavi but Olavi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Olavi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Olavi thows a huge punch but Freds dodges it nicely.
Freds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olavi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Olavi is taking a breather. Freds says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Olavi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Freds to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Freds shrugs it off. #T4#
The referee warns Freds that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Olavi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Freds can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Olavi stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Olavi has hold of Freds's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Freds tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Olavi cranks the arm and Freds screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Freds, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
