McKewley on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Dealy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McKewley's hands.

Blackburn clinches.
Blackburn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Dealy is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blackburn slows down the pace here.
Dealy is trying to break the clinch but Blackburn is controlling him.
Blackburn is pushing Dealy up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Blackburn is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dealy can't fight it off and eventually Blackburn manages to take the fight to the floor. Dealy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Blackburn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Blackburn seems to have locked his on tight now - Dealy screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Blackburn, as he picks up the win!

A less than humble Charles Blackburn misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dealy tries to stand but Melendez is controlling from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Melendez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Melendez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dealy manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Melendez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Melendez decides to stand back up.
Roni Dealy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Melendez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Melendez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dealy as he jumps to the side.

Melendez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dealy uses from the top position.
