The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socerer cracks a nice hook into Pedersen's ribs.
Pedersen punishes Socerer's body with a nice straight punch.
Socerer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pedersen digs a good hook to Socerer's body.
Socerer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Socerer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Socerer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pedersen.
Socerer displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Socerer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Pedersen is rocked!
Socerer throws a head kick that misses.
Oh Pedersen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Socerer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
BOOM! Socerer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pedersen. Pedersen tries to recover but Socerer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pedersen lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Mistry misses with a takedown attempt - Pedersen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Oooooh!!! Pedersen has knocked Mistry down with a huge combo! Pedersen steps away and waves a wobbly Mistry back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Dinesh Mistry has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pedersen misses the shot to the body.
Mistry shoots in looking for a takedown. Pedersen tries to sprawl out of it but Mistry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pedersen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pedersen cracks Mistry with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pedersen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mistry to stand back up!
Mistry is still on wobbly legs! Can Pedersen finish him?
Pedersen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mistry was well out of range. Poor timing from Pedersen.
BAM! Pedersen delivers a spinning backfist that drops Mistry like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Wang gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pedersen.

Pedersen darts in and clinches Wang up against the cage.
Wang takes an elbow to the temple.
Come on Pedersen - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Pedersen for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Pedersen creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pedersen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Pedersen pushes off an throws an elbow but Wang leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Pedersen lands an elbow inside that Wang shrugs off.
A frustrated look appears on Wang's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wang stands and throws Pedersen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wang trying to control the action but Pedersen is working from the bottom.
Pedersen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pedersen tries to get out of the position.

Pedersen trying his best to control but Wang has mounted him.
Wang wants to control the pace but Pedersen is squirming around nicely.

Wang is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pedersen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pedersen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wang anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pedersen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wang slips an arm under Pedersen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wang has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wang is squeezing on Pedersen like an anaconda would it's prey. Pedersen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Long Wang!
Long Wang decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

A punch lands to the side of Hansson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Hendrik Hansson has been cut.
Pedersen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hansson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pedersen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hansson is in Pedersen's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pedersen throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hansson stands and throws Pedersen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pedersen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hansson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hansson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pedersen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hansson decides to stand back up. Hansson steps back and let's Pedersen get back to his feet.
Pedersen punishes Hansson's body with a nice straight punch.

Hansson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pedersen was covering up waiting for the punch and Hansson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hansson connects with a couple of short punches.
Hansson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hansson won't allow Pedersen to sweep him here.
Hansson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hansson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hansson advances to half guard.
Pedersen tries to roll over but Hansson keeps him under control.
Pedersen trying to hold on to Hansson's head to control him but Hansson postures up.
Hansson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hansson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hansson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pedersen punching from the bottom.
Hansson content to control rather than advance.
Pedersen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hansson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pedersen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Hendrik Hansson just wasn't active enough.

Pedersen rushes Hansson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hansson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pedersen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Pedersen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hansson blocks the elbow strike.
Hansson tries to break the clinch but Pedersen is controlling the position.
Pedersen throws an elbow that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Pedersen is struggling to control the position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jens Pedersen.
Pedersen misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Hansson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hansson.
Pedersen controls Hansson momentarily but Hansson frees himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pedersen throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Hansson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hansson is breathing heavily.

Hansson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pedersen is trying to control the position but Hansson postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hansson stands and throws Pedersen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pedersen is letting Hansson control him for a moment.
And thatís the end of the round Ė the fighters go back to their corners.

Hendrik Hansson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hendrik Hansson's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Pedersen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hansson's hands.
A jab lands there for Pedersen.
Hansson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hansson ducks into an uppercut from Pedersen and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
