Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Craig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Hilo, Lucas Luzano!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craig with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Craig shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luzano pinned against the cage. Luzano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Craig tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Luzano defends well and Craig ends up having to push Luzano into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Luzano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Luzano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Craig to the mat! Craig manages to get full guard.
Craig is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Luzano dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Luzano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Craig, who protects the arm well.
Luzano grinds an elbow into Craig's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luzano tries to advance to mount but Craig denies him.
Luzano tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Craig prevents Luzano from improving position.
Luzano lands a nice forearm strike.
Luzano slows the pace down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Luzano wants to stand but Craig has his arm trapped.
You can see the frustration on Craig's face as Luzano controls the position.
Craig is trying to control Luzano's posture but Luzano avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Luzano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Luzano rushes Craig and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Luzano just leaning against Craig, taking a breather.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Craig is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Luzano will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Craig up against the cage.
Luzano effectively controlling the action here.
Luzano is looking for a takedown.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Craig tries a body shot but Luzano blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucas Luzano dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Craig.
Craig takes one to the side of the head.
Craig shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Luzano as he avoids it easily.

Luzano drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Craig wants to get back to his feet but Luzano drags him back down.
Luzano connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Craig some visible discomfort.
Luzano lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Craig down.

Craig is rocked!
Luzano has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big shot lands for Luzano! That's hurt Craig! Will he recover? Luzano fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Luzano!
