Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sands (ranked 1453 p4p, 38 weight class) and Gorgon Zola (ranked 1834 p4p, 85 weight class). Sands comes to the cage accompanied by Ante Up (Remix) - By: M.O.P. ft. Busta Rhymes, Teflon, Remy Martin. Zola has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sands throws out a loose jab but Zola uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zola unleashes a big counter combination but Sands bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sands fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zola on the side of the head.
Zola ducks right into an uppercut from Sands.

Sands throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zola tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sands is in Zola's guard.

Zola is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
We've been informed that Zola has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Zola tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sands smiles and moves away.

Carl Sands decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
