Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Soldic (ranked 2201 p4p, 227 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 1953 p4p, 209 weight class). Soldic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Come With Me. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie moves away from the strike by Soldic.

Gracie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gracie's coach down at Smitty's was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gracie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gracie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Soldic connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gracie scrambles back to his feet.

Soldic cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Soldic throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Soldic throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Roberto Soldic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kron Gracie.

Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The fighters circling - Soldic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Soldic napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gracie has hold of Soldic's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Soldic tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gracie cranks the arm and Soldic screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Soldic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kron Gracie!
Post fight, Kron Gracie stared into the camera and said 'I'll give a choke to anyone on the roster who wants it!!!'.
