The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNugget lands a jab to Lyons's midsection.

Lyons shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lyons really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McNugget instigates a clinch.
Lyons tries to circle away but McNugget has him pinned against the cage.
Lyons looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

McNugget escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lyons tries to score a power double leg takedown but McNugget sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lyons somewhat.
Lee Lyons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyons has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McNugget finds it's way round the side to connect with Lyons's head.
McNugget throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
