Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ono Kuronoa (ranked 1855 p4p, 116 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 1513 p4p, 92 weight class). Brah comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropped by Smoke Serpent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Ono Kuronoa! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Edgy Brah!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kuronoa tries to clinch up.
Brah shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuronoa tries to sprawl out of it but Brah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kuronoa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kuronoa tries to counter with a takedown but Brah is quick to defend against it.
Brah fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kuronoa rushes Brah and presses him up against the ropes.
Kuronoa is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Brah to keep the fight standing.
Kuronoa pulls guard effortlessly.
Brah controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brah trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuronoa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kuronoa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kuronoa is trying to control the position but Brah postures up.
Kuronoa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kuronoa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brah doesn't defend quickly enough and Kuronoa has managed to lock this one up! Can Brah escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kuronoa on a fantastic submission victory.
