Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 1457 p4p, 88 weight class) and Curtis Jackson (ranked 2292 p4p, 140 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bobby Shmurda - Hot N*gga. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curtis Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One moves forwards but Jackson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
One takes one to the side of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
One shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Curtis Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson swings for the body but One moves out of range.
Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but One moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
One attempts a counter takedown but Jackson avoids it well and moves away.

A little feinted left hand from One on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Jackson moves into the clinch.
One is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

One has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jackson regains guard immediately.
Jackson wants to stand up but One is controlling him.
One distracts Jackson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jackson keeping moving, preventing One from controlling successfully.

One slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

One looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
One wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.

One wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

One is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
One scores with a couple of short elbows.
One has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

One is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
One is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
One lands some shots froms side control.
One trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Jackson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

One tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jackson is pushing One's head away, looking to escape. One manages to hold on to the position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.

One is trying to get an arm triangle but Jackson is defending well.

One tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no One has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
One prevents Jackson from escaping the position.

One tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

One in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jackson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). New Breed One!
After winning the bout, New Breed One thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
