Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright slips a jab and a cross from Penn.

Penn looks to throw the jab but Cartwright is out of range.
Cartwright shoots in but Penn avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Cartwright is tightening it up a little... Penn has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Penn reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Penn taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cartwright!
