The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giuliani displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Adams.
Giuliani looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Some wild striking there from Adams.
Giuliani tries a quick counter leg kick but Adams is wise to it.
Adams tries to clinch
and Giuliani counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like MIchael Adams has been cut.
MIchael Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Giuliani! But no joy.

and Giuliani counters with a crisp right hand that drops Adams! Giuliani lets Adams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
