Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 2075 p4p, 216 weight class) and David Tua (ranked 24034 p4p, 507 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakiyev connects with a looping right hand.
Tua displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bakiyev throws out the jab.
Bakiyev takes a swing at Tua's ribcage but misses.
Bakiyev lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bakiyev throws a body punch but Tua moves out of range.
Tua let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
A big left from Tua misses.

Tua cracks Bakiyev with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Bakiyev get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Bakiyev looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Tua has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bakiyev ducks into a a hook from Tua and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

David Tua will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.

and Tua counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Bakiyev badly! He tries to strike back but Tua puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Bakiyev out cold! Oh man, Bakiyev will never hear the end of this one!
