The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meat Boy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Brutus Leagatius has been cut.
A low kick from Meat Boy misses
and Leagatius counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Super Meat Boy has been cut.
Meat Boy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Leagatius appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Meat Boy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leagatius.
A head kick misses from Meat Boy.
Leagatius stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Meat Boy.
Super Meat Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leagatius lands a head shot.
Meat Boy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leagatius.
A left lands for Leagatius.

It looked like Meat Boy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Leagatius counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leagatius on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've been told by Meat Boy's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Leagatius counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Super Meat Boy's cut is getting worse.

Leagatius uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Meat Boy.
Leagatius now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Leagatius scores with a kick to the body.
Meat Boy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Leagatius works Meat Boy's body with a nice hook.
Meat Boy misses with a left hand
and Leagatius counters with a huge right that knocks Meat Boy out cold! Leagatius is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Brutus Leagatius tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
