Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gurgen Davidyan (ranked 713 p4p, 98 weight class) and Blue Cup (ranked 2375 p4p, 278 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cup throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Davidyan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cup avoids the head kick by Davidyan.
Davidyan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A big left from Cup misses.
Davidyan looks to score with a jab to the body but Cup is just out of range.
Davidyan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Davidyan throws a looping overhand right but Cup ducks down to avoid it.
Davidyan throws out a powerful jab.
Cup connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Gurgen Davidyan has been cut.
Cup fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Davidyan.
Davidyan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Davidyan slips a jab from Cup.
Davidyan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davidyan loads up on a big right hand but Cup slips the punch.
Cup just misses with a punch to the body.
Cup throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cup tries to keep at a distance but Davidyan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Cup manages to break the clinch.

No joy there for Cup, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It appears Davidyan was looking to counter with a kick there.
Davidyan blocks a head kick by Cup.
Cup uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davidyan.
Cup swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Davidyan just misses with a punch to the body.
Davidyan throws a nice looking combination but Cup bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cup connects with a jab.
A punch lands to the side of Cup 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Davidyan punishes Cup's body with a nice straight punch.
Cup misses with a looping right.
Cup blocks a jab.
Cup swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Davidyan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cup on the side of the head.

Cup drops Davidyan with a left and a right! Oh, Davidyan is hurt - Cup dives into side control looking to finish!

Davidyan is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cup is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davidyan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oh Davidyan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cup decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Davidyan swings for the body but Cup moves out of range.
Cup shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice uppercut lands for Davidyan. That snapped Cup's head back.
Davidyan thows a left - swing and a miss!

Cup lands a brutal uppercut that launches Davidyan off his feet! Davidyan tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
