Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Ison (ranked 2043 p4p, 236 weight class) and Krisko Kurtev (ranked 4095 p4p, 410 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A low kick from Ison is predictable there

and Kurtev counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kurtev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kurtev wants to work for an arm triangle but Ison is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
