Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Franca (ranked 972 p4p, 134 weight class) and Dominick De Struicao (ranked 2023 p4p, 244 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franca might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Greatest Showman. De Struicao comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Walk With Me In Hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Struicao looks to land a right hand but Franca moved out of range.
Franca fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from De Struicao as Franca shoots in.
Franca shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Franca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De Struicao throws a sloppy head kick and Franca moves out of range easily.
Franca tries for a takedown but De Struicao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
De Struicao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Franca.
De Struicao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Franca shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in De Struicao's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Franca accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Franca tries to free his leg and advance position but De Struicao is retaining full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Franca throws an elbow that misses. De Struicao uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Franca's guard. Nice move by De Struicao!

Franca has his feet on De Struicao's thighs here. He's pushed De Struicao off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! De Struicao screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
