The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustacho lands with an uppercut that bounces Steyn off the cage and back into range.
Mustacho misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mustacho looks to land a right hand but Steyn moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Steyn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mustacho wants to land a leg kick but Steyn is out of range.
Steyn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mustacho.

Mustacho throws the left hand but Steyn avoids the punch easily.

Mustacho lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mustacho.

We've been hearing reports that Steyn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mustacho tries to bum rush Steyn with a series of wild strikes but Steyn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Steyn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mustacho stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mustacho throws a lazy uppercut
and Steyn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mustacho bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steyn's head backwards.
Mustacho lands a nice looking body shot.
Steyn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mustacho avoids the body shot from Steyn.
Steyn misses the jab.
Steyn keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Steyn was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Steyn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mustacho.
Steyn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mustacho counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Mustacho drops Steyn with a beautiful combination! Steyn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mustacho is looking for the KO!

Mustacho fakes the body blow, causing Steyn to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Steyn goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

After the fight, Barnito Mustacho was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
