Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 59 - 45 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kyle Romo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 54 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah Pitakaka!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitakaka misses with a kick to the body.
Romo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Romo blocks a low kick nicely.
Romo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pitakaka's hands.


It looks like Elijah Pitakaka has been cut.
Romo avoids a kick to the body.
Romo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Pitakaka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pitakaka takes a jab right on the kisser.
Pitakaka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Romo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Romo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pitakaka blocks it with crossed arms.
Romo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pitakaka or not.
Romo works on Pitakaka's body with a couple of short punches.
Romo tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Pitakaka wants to break free but Romo has control.
Pitakaka can't break the clinch.

Pitakaka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pitakaka throws a head kick but Romo moves out of range.

Romo drives through and clinches with Pitakaka against the ropes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pitakaka wants to get back to striking at distance but Romo won't allow it.
Pitakaka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pitakaka is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Romo is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pitakaka is looking to break free of the clinch but Romo has double underhooks.
Pitakaka looking to stall.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Romo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Romo throws a knee to the head but misses.
A right handed body shot lands from Romo.

Pitakaka looks winded!
Romo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pitakaka backwards.

Pitakaka is trying to maintain a safe position but Romo gets an underhook and turns Pitakaka into the ropes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Romo comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Romo gets through Pitakaka's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Romo tries to land a knee to the head but Pitakaka blocks with his arms.

Romo lands a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Kyle Romo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Elijah Pitakaka's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

A head kick misses from Pitakaka.
Pitakaka drops his guard momentarily, allowing Romo to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Pitakaka! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Romo takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). John Kyle Romo!
During a confident post fight interview, John Kyle Romo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
