CACC 44 PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kyle Seehaver (ranked 2203 p4p, 242 weight class) and Tobias Pancake (ranked 15869 p4p, 530 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Kyle Seehaver! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 20 losses; Tobias Pancake!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pancake gets the takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Seehaver (0) vs (4) Pancake
Pancake trying to control the action but Seehaver is working from the bottom.
Pancake has knee on belly and moves into mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Seehaver (0) vs (6) Pancake
Pancake trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Pancake wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Seehaver tries to hold on but Pancake postures up.
Seehaver is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pancake fails to advance to Seehaver's back.
Seehaver is squirming around, avoiding Pancake's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Seehaver is trying desperately to improve position.
Pancake trying to control but Seehaver is having none of it.
Seehaver tries to improve his position but Pancake has taken his back! Pancake has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Seehaver tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Pancake pushes Seehaver away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
