The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacAllister goes for a double leg but Baroza avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Baroza continues to drive forward.
Baroza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MacAllister pinned against the cage. MacAllister gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
MacAllister fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
MacAllister fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Francisco Baroza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin MacAllister.
Baroza shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts MacAllister as he jumps to the side.
Baroza shoots for a double leg takedown but MacAllister sprawls well. He's pushed Baroza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baroza dives in and grabs MacAllister's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacAllister pushes down on Baroza's head and hops out.

Baroza is trying to drag MacAllister to the mat but MacAllister just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

MacAllister has Baroza pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Baroza manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
MacAllister changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baroza fights it off and pushes away nicely.

MacAllister shoots in but no luck this time.
Baroza drops down looking for a counter takedown but MacAllister sprawls and moves away.

Horrible takedown attempt by MacAllister or perhaps it was just good defense by Baroza, which made it look bad.
Baroza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MacAllister pinned against the cage. MacAllister gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
MacAllister shoots in for a takedown but Baroza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Baroza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? MacAllister is fending him off so far but Baroza persists. Nope, MacAllister circles away and we're back to standing.
Baroza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MacAllister swivels and escapes.
MacAllister shoots for a takedown but Baroza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Baroza shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Baroza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Baroza tries for a kimura but MacAllister is defending well.
Baroza is breathing heavily.

Baroza thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Francisco Baroza showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Baroza has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
