Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Rock (ranked 37 p4p, 5 weight class) and Sasha Beliy (ranked 261 p4p, 29 weight class). Rock comes to the cage accompanied by I Wanna Rock. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock throws a low kick but it's checked well by Beliy.
Beliy checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Beliy keeps Rock at a distance using the push kick.
Rock lands with a right hand.
Beliy lunges at Rock with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rock's hand.
Beliy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sasha Beliy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beliy thows a leg kick but Rock checks it
and Rock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beliy throws a shot to the body.
Beliy walks into a jab.

It looks like Sasha Beliy has been cut.
A big left from Beliy misses.
Beliy scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beliy swings for the body but Rock moves out of range.
Beliy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rock circles away quickly and effectively.
A little feinted left hand from Rock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Beliy connects with a crisp jab.
Beliy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beliy avoids the head kick by Rock.
Beliy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rock has time to react.
Beliy misses the jab.
Rock walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Beliy tries a low kick but Rock avoids it.
Beliy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rock looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rock throws a head kick but Beliy moves out of range.
Beliy throws a shot from downtown. Rock moves away and avoids it.
Rock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A head kick misses from Beliy.
Beliy misses with a hook. Rock ducked under it nicely.
Beliy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rock throws a leg kick that misses.
Rock throws a lazy right hand but Beliy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Beliy misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beliy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fight stays on the outside here - Rock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A bone on bone clash there as Beliy blocks the leg kick.
Rock looks to throw the jab but Beliy is out of range.
Rock scores with a nice right hand.
Beliy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Beliy tries to get set, Rock tries to push him back and clinch up but Beliy manages to avoid the attempt.
Beliy takes a jab right on the kisser.

Beliy is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Beliy. Rock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beliy is still on wobbly legs! Can Rock finish him?
Beliy gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rock gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Will Rock retains his lightweight title!
In his post fight interview, Will Rock started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
