And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ri Zaadha!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Vieira fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zaadha to the ground. Vieira is now in Zaadha's guard.
Zaadha wants to sweep but no luck.
Vieira wants to pass the guard but Zaadha is keeping the position.

Zaadha manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vieira manages to get himself to full guard.

Zaadha decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vieira, up you get!
Zaadha moves away from the strike by Vieira.
Vieira misses with a shot to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Vieira closes the distance and clinches up with Zaadha, looking for a takedown. Vieira pushes Zaadha against the cage but Zaadha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vieira tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Vieira lands a nice shot that snaps Zaadha's head back.

Vieira looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ri Zaadha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Zaadha looks to land a left hand but Vieira moved out of range nicely.
Vieira fails with the takedown.

Zaadha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vieira checks a leg kick nicely.
Vieira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaadha is fending him off so far but Vieira persists. Nope, Zaadha circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Eduardo Vieira has been cut.

Zaadha takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A telegraphed right hand from Vieira misses the target.
Vieira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zaadha.
Vieira throws a lazy uppercut
and Zaadha counters with a nice uppercut.
Vieira misses with a takedown
and Zaadha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Vieira is rocked!
Vieira lands with a nice body punch.

Vieira tries to clinch but Zaadha moves out of range.
Zaadha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zaadha connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zaadha swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Vieira counter with a right hand.

Vieira's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zaadha under the eye.
Vieira scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zaadha will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Vieira tries to keep at a distance but Zaadha has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zaadha lands with a left to the head.
Zaadha working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Vieira lands with a light punch inside.

Zaadha blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Vieira misses with a punch on the inside.
Zaadha prevents a body shot from Vieira.
Zaadha blocks an uppercut.
Zaadha lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Vieira breaks the clinch.
Vieira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zaadha pinned against the cage. Zaadha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vieira dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vieira fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zaadha tries to land a leg kick but Vieira saw it coming and moves away.
Vieira misses with an uppercut.
Zaadha was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vieira. Zaadha does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zaadha throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vieira's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ri Zaadha will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Eduardo Vieira's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Vieira throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Zaadha looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Vieira throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Vieira throws a poor cross that misses

and Zaadha counters with a nice right hand that sends Vieira toppling to the canvas! Vieira scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Zaadha finish him?!
Oh Vieira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vieira moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromZaadha.
Zaadha finds Vieira's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Vieira flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Zaadha lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Vieira will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ri Zaadha!
During a confident post fight interview, Ri Zaadha thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
