Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Forky Fork (ranked 24193 p4p, 299 weight class) and Carlton Adesanya (ranked 24029 p4p, 304 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya looks to score with a jab to the body but Fork is just out of range.

Adesanya tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Forky Fork is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice straight punches there by Fork. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fork.
Adesanya takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fork connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adesanya. Adesanya circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Carlton Adesanya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Fork counters with a crisp right hand that drops Adesanya! Fork lets Adesanya back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Fork darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Adesanya's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fork before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
