The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trudeau lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rishkinov circles away quickly and effectively.
Rishkinov throws a body shot but no joy.
And Trudeau responds with a good body kick, but Rishkinov manages to step out the way in time.

It looks like Serhey Rishkinov has been cut.
Trudeau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trudeau there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rishkinov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Trudeau moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rishkinov misses with a body shot
and Trudeau counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Trudeau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rishkinov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trudeau loads up on a big right hand but Rishkinov slips the punch.
Rishkinov throws the kick towards the body but Trudeau avoids it.
Trudeau raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Trudeau has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Trudeau misses with an uppercut.
Rishkinov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rishkinov tries to bum rush Trudeau with a series of wild strikes but Trudeau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rishkinov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Trudeau swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Trudeau lands a big head kick that sends Rishkinov tumbling to the mat! Trudeau takes a step backwards and waves Rishkinov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rishkinov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rishkinov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trudeau as he avoids it easily.

Trudeau throws out a loose jab but Rishkinov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rishkinov shoots in looking for a takedown but Trudeau manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rishkinov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Trudeau takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Rishkinov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trudeau manages to avoid it.
Trudeau sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Rishkinov's defenses. It connects perfectly with Rishkinov's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
