Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Prohor Georgiev (ranked 363 p4p, 51 weight class) and Miguel Harper (ranked 209 p4p, 28 weight class). Georgiev comes to the cage accompanied by Oxxxymiron - City under the sole. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper throws a big shot that misses.
Harper closes the distance and clinches up with Georgiev, looking for a takedown. Harper pushes Georgiev against the cage but Georgiev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Harper shoots in looking for a takedown but Georgiev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Harper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Georgiev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Georgiev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Prohor Georgiev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Harper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Georgiev won't allow Harper to pass to mount.

Harper thows a huge punch but Georgiev dodges it nicely.
Harper is nestled in close to Georgiev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Harper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Georgiev's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Prohor Georgiev will probably get the nod.

Harper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Georgiev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Georgiev blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Harper misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Harper tries to throw a body punch but Georgiev avoids it by throwing Harper back against the cage.

Harper lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Harper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Georgiev pulls his leg out and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Georgiev as he avoids it easily.

Harper misses with a takedown attempt - Georgiev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Georgiev has his foot on Harper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harper works his way back into a safe position though.

Georgiev is looking to cinch up a triangle. Harper throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Georgiev's body to avoid the submission. Georgiev has instead reached around Harper's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Georgiev arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
