Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phill Brooks (ranked 19735 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chief Queef (ranked 22628 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by Cult Of Personality . Chief Queef will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phill Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Queef!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Queef clinches up against the cage.
Queef lands with a right to the head.
Queef pushes Brooks back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Queef creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Queef gets through Brooks's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Queef lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brooks backwards.
Queef lands an uppercut.
Queef lands a shoulder strike.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Queef has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Queef manages to pull guard.

Queef is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brooks is aware though and is defending well.

Brooks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Queef has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brooks has managed to get both his arms back between Queef's legs - danger averted.

Queef lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Brooks has given up his back here. Will Queef look for the submission or keep pounding away?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Queef is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Brooks knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Brooks for a finish.

Queef has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Brooks has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Queef is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Brooks defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Brooks is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Queef gets his way!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chief Queef dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Queef gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brooks has Queef pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Queef manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Brooks drops back looking for a leg! Queef is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Queef manages to kick Brooks off! Brooks jumps back into Queef's guard.
Brooks trying to control the position from guard on top but Queef is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Queef has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Queef is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brooks has his hands clasped together but Queef extends and breaks Brooks's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Queef.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chief Queef!
Our winner, Chief Queef, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Phill Brooks spoke after the fight, saying 'I Don't Know I Could Go Back To WWE Or Train Harder Than Ever Before And Win My Next Fight'.
