CACC 32 PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mew Choo (ranked 500 p4p, 72 weight class) and Jonthan Henry (ranked 2678 p4p, 297 weight class). Henry has chosen hit em up as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Mew Choo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 7 losses; Jonthan Henry !
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Choo clinches up with Henry and pushes him back against the ropes.
Choo tries to pull guard but Henry forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.

Henry has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Choo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Henry is working for takedown but Choo is calmly controlling the position for now.

Henry wants to control from the top but Choo keeps moving.
Henry slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Henry is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Henry wants to pass the guard but Choo is keeping the position.
Henry is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Choo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Henry is looking to defend but Choo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Henry ! Choo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Henry taps out and this one is all over!
