Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Dobbs (ranked 2296 p4p, 128 weight class) and Sami Steele (ranked 2175 p4p, 120 weight class). Dobbs's entrance music is Dont fear the reaper, Blue oyster cult.. A fine choice. Sami Steele will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dobbs throws out a loose jab but Steele uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been hearing reports that Dobbs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Dobbs is trying to drag Steele to the mat but Steele just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Dobbs has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Steele uses from the top position.

Dobbs is working an open guard so Steele takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Steele sends Dobbs crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Steele is motioning to the referee to let Dobbs up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Dobbs is rocked!
Steele throws a pinpoint strike between Dobbs's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Dobbs crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Steele scores a great knockout victory!
