The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blevio lands a body shot.
Blevio shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Baldwin shoots in and drives through. Blevio sprawls well.
Baldwin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Blevio looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Baldwin!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blevio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Baldwin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blevio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Blevio lands an elbow.

Baldwin is trying to control Blevio's posture but Blevio avoids it.

Blevio is trying to get an arm triangle but Baldwin is defending well.

Blevio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Blevio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Baldwin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Blevio yanks on the arm and Baldwin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Blevio.
