Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Radoslav Petrov (ranked 1720 p4p, 200 weight class) and Brandin Duncan (ranked 1988 p4p, 226 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Petrov clobbers Duncan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Duncan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Petrov.
Petrov lands a lovely overhand right.
Petrov throws the left hand but Duncan avoids the punch easily.
Duncan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Petrov defends it well.
Petrov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Duncan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Petrov.
And Duncan tries to counter it with a takedown but Petrov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duncan can't get the takedown.
Duncan is trying to drag Petrov to the mat but Petrov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Duncan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Petrov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Radoslav Petrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandin Duncan.
