PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leto Camille (ranked 2110 p4p, 210 weight class) and Mono Loco (ranked 2854 p4p, 269 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camille scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Camille lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Camille uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Loco takes one on the button.
Camille misses with a hook.
Camille leaves Loco with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Camille pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Loco feints the counter takedown.

Leto Camille has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mono Loco.
Loco takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Loco gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Camille, as that shot connected.
Camille misses with a hook. Loco ducked under it nicely.

Camille stuffs the takedown attempt from Loco. Loco gets slowly back to his feet.

Camille with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Loco closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Camille with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Camille, right into the meat.
Loco fails with the takedown.
Loco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Camille sprawls well. Camille wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Loco gets slowly back to his feet.
Loco gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Camille.
Camille lands a nice shot to the body.
Jab, jab by Camille - just one landing.
Camille is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Loco looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Loco dives in and grabs Camille's left leg, looking for a takedown. Camille pushes down on Loco's head and hops out.
Camille is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Loco takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Camille dips to his left and cracks Loco with an uppercut!
The crowd cheers as Camille lands an impressive looking overhand right. Loco doesn't seem phased though.

Loco gets the takedown into side control.

Camille is looking to reverse the position.

Loco tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Loco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Camille has escaped the position, nice work there.

Loco is trying to get an arm triangle but Camille is defending well.
Loco is looking to take a break and control but Camille is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Loco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Loco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Camille is trying to improve his position.

Loco has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Camille is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Loco yanks on the arm and Camille is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Loco.
