Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lurifax Andersen (ranked 2537 p4p, 245 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 3087 p4p, 289 weight class). Pinochet has chosen I Need a Pinochet as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lurifax Andersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Pinochet!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pinochet counters with a leg kick.
Andersen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pinochet.
Pinochet lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Andersen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pinochet thuds his shin into the meat of Andersen's side.
Lurifax Andersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andersen moves forwards but Pinochet connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pinochet lands a head kick. Andersen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Lurifax Andersen has been cut.
Andersen misses the jab.
Andersen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pinochet.
Pinochet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pinochet's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Andersen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pinochet scrambles back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Andersen. Pinochet does a little dance to reset his feet.
Andersen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pinochet.
Pinochet ducks under a wild hook from Andersen.
Andersen looks to throw the jab but Pinochet is out of range.
Andersen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pinochet eats them both and turns towards Andersen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pinochet scores with a jab to the jaw.
Pinochet tries to move into range but Andersen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Andersen drops Pinochet with a beautiful combination! Pinochet stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Andersen is looking for the KO!
It looks like Augusto Pinochet has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pinochet throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Pinochet throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Andersen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Andersen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Andersen blocks a head kick by Pinochet.
Pinochet slips under a jab from Andersen.
Andersen misses the body punch
and Pinochet counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Andersen is breathing heavily.
Pinochet staying out of range there.
It seemed like Pinochet was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Andersen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pinochet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pinochet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Andersen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pinochet counters with a thumping low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pinochet.
Pinochet scores with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pinochet lands a nice shot that snaps Andersen's head back.
Lurifax Andersen's cut is getting worse.
Pinochet scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pinochet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A nice side step and Pinochet releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Andersen throws an overhand right that lands on Pinochet's shoulder, as Pinochet tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Andersen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pinochet lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Andersen swings widly with a right hand
and Pinochet counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A solid leg kick lands there for Pinochet.
Pinochet stuns Andersen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pinochet ducks under a wild hook from Andersen.
Andersen throws out a loose jab but Pinochet uses good head movement to avoid it.
Andersen throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A right-left combo lands from Pinochet.
Andersen is rocked!
Andersen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pinochet tests Andersen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Andersen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andersen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Andersen wants to stay close but Pinochet steps back to make room for something. Andersen seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Pinochet and Andersen drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Augusto Pinochet!
A less than humble Augusto Pinochet misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
