The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj lands an overhand right.
Yaj looks to throw the jab but Da Rocha is out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Yaj.
It looks like Tiago Gomes Da Rocha has been cut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Yaj!
Nice body kick there by Yaj.
Yaj misses with a right hand
and Da Rocha counters with a crisp one two that drops Yaj! Da Rocha thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Yaj to his feet! Yaj is in big trouble!
Yaj is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yaj lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Yaj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from Yaj.
Yaj seems to have got his legs back now.
Da Rocha has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yaj dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yaj. Da Rocha shrugs it off though.
Yaj fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Da Rocha has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yaj tests Da Rocha's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yaj fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Da Rocha on the side of the head.
Yaj lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yaj feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Da Rocha's calf.
Da Rocha has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yaj.
Yaj looks to land a body kick but Da Rocha moved away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Da Rocha! But no joy.
Yaj throws a head kick that misses.
Da Rocha feints a counter leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yaj moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A low kick from Yaj misses
and Da Rocha counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yaj is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Da Rocha is controlling him.
Yaj is trying to control the position but Da Rocha postures up.
Yaj manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Yaj misses with a hook to the ribs.
Da Rocha jumps guard and drags Yaj to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Yaj has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Yaj stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Yaj thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Da Rocha if he has to take too many more of those.
Da Rocha checks a low kick from Yaj.
A nice inside leg kick there by Yaj. That's going to slow Da Rocha down.
Yaj scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Yaj turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Yaj lands a big head kick that sends Da Rocha tumbling to the mat! Yaj takes a step backwards and waves Da Rocha back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Da Rocha is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yaj lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Da Rocha crumples to the floor! Yaj milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
