We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Danilov's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Netti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Danilov.

Netti looks for the body kick but Danilov saw that one coming.

Netti lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mario Netti dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Danilov lets loose with a powerful body kick. Netti will feel that in the morning.
Danilov throws a series of punches but Netti avoids them all with ease.

Netti has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Netti cracks Danilov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Netti has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Danilov to stand back up!

Danilov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Oh Danilov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Netti is looking to chop away at Danilov's legs.
Danilov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Netti walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Danilov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Netti swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Danilov's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Mario Netti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
