The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsini lands with a straight right. Boone didn't see that one coming.
Alessandro Orsini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Orsini stuns Boone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Boone walks into a jab.
Orsini tries to land a leg kick but Boone saw it coming and moves away.

and Orsini counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Orsini throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Orsini cracks Boone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Orsini misses with a straight left.
A little feinted left hand from Boone on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Orsini fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boone.
A lazy left from Boone finds it's target.
It looks like Alessandro Orsini has been cut.
Orsini misses with a low kick as Boone jumps back.
Orsini just misses with a punch to the body.
Boone ducks under a wild hook from Orsini.
Boone drops his hands momentarily and Orsini takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Orsini is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boone.
Orsini misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boone.
Orsini ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Orsini moves out of range of the strikes.
Orsini throws out a counter right but Boone avoids it with no problem.
Orsini uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boone.
Orsini throws a hook but Boone blocks it.
Boone has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Orsini lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Boone is rocked!

Oh Boone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice combination there by Boone.
Boone walks straight into a right hand from Orsini - that's dropped him! Orsini jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Boone from any more punishment! Boone complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Alessandro Orsini decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
