And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chance Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edwards, pushing him back against the cage.
Edwards has had enough of the clinch but Shamrock keeps him there for the moment.

Shamrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Edwards shoots in for a takedown but Shamrock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Edwards misses with a double jab.

Edwards gets caught napping as Shamrock dives in and scores a takedown. Edwards manages to retain guard.
Edwards wants to get back to his feet but Shamrock passes into half guard.

Shamrock with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Shamrock is trying to control the action in half guard but Edwards is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Shamrock trying to mount his opponent but Edwards defends it.
Edwards is trying to maintain the position but Shamrock is very close to passing his half guard.
Edwards on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edwards tries to get out of the position.

Edwards tries to roll over but Shamrock keeps him under control.
Shamrock trying to control the action but Edwards is working from the bottom.
Edwards controlling the position for now.
Edwards wants to control but Shamrock is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Shamrock scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Edwards has his hands clasped together around Shamrock's back. He's all about the action.

Shamrock maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Edwards could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Shamrock has cracked it and Edwards is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Shamrock!
