The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets the takedown into side control.
We've been hearing good reports from Silva's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Silva tries to move into full mount but can't pass Robinson's legs.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working.
Silva is really struggling to control Robinson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Robinson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Silva escapes and throws Robinson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Silva has an Americana. Robinson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Rio Silva gave a mention to Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
