PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dilon Goncalves (ranked 3307 p4p, 299 weight class) and Brock Steve (ranked 1631 p4p, 178 weight class). Goncalves kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is TAPOUT. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dilon Goncalves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Steve!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goncalves fails in his attempt to clinch.

As Goncalves backs off Steve throws a huge counter combo but Goncalves manages to avoid it all.

Steve throws a right hand that Goncalves ducks under and follows up with a left that Goncalves also avoids with ease.
Goncalves moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off.
Steve looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Goncalves shoots for a double leg takedown but Steve sprawls well. He's pushed Goncalves's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Steve got a little sloppy there for a moment and Goncalves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steve has managed to get both his arms back between Goncalves's legs - danger averted.

Goncalves isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Steve stacks Goncalves on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Steve!
