The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice sprawl there from Torres as Tycooon shoots in.
Torres lands a jab to the nose.
Tycooon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tycooon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Torres as he jumps to the side.
Tycooon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Uadab Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Yeet Master Tycooon.
Tycooon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Torres swivels and escapes.

Tycooon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Torres tries to avoid it but Tycooon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Torres to the ground. Torres escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tycooon has Torres pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Torres manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tycooon is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Torres can't fight it off and eventually Tycooon manages to take the fight to the floor. Torres looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tycooon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tycooon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tycooon wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.

Tycooon drops back looking for a leg! Torres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torres manages to kick Tycooon off! Tycooon jumps back into Torres's guard.

Tycooon shoots for a double leg takedown but Torres sprawls well. He's pushed Tycooon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Torres lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tycooon circles away quickly and effectively.
Tycooon dodges the punch combination from Torres.
Torres throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tycooon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Torres tries to bum rush Tycooon with a series of wild strikes but Tycooon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Torres scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tycooon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tycooon there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tycooon shoots for a takedown but Torres saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Torres's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tycooon under the eye.
Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tycooon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Torres moves into the clinch.
Torres misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Tycooon misses with a punch on the inside.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tycooon unleashes a big counter combination but Torres bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Tycooon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
