Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thommy Harinck (ranked 2032 p4p, 233 weight class) and Richard Togo (ranked 2746 p4p, 303 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Togo's choice of entrance music: Voodo Child - Jimi Hendrix. Thommy Harinck has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Togo tries to clinch but Harinck moves out of range.
Richard Togo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harinck circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harinck ducks under a wild hook from Togo.
Togo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Harinck connects with a body shot.

and Harinck cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Togo throws a chopping leg kick but Harinck manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Harinck definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Togo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Harinck tries to clinch but Togo is having none of it.

Harinck is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Togo.

and Harinck counters with a three punch combo that has Togo backing up. Togo nods at Harinck to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Togo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harinck is out of range and Togo settles back down.
Harinck seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Harinck lands with an overhand left.

Togo is rocked!
Togo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harinck doesn't seem bothered though.
Harinck tries to clinch there but Togo circles away.
Harinck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Harinck throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Togo throws the kick towards the body but Harinck avoids it.
It looked like Harinck was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Togo.
Togo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harinck.
Harinck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Togo moves away.
Thommy Harinck is winning the standup battle so far.
Togo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Togo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Harinck slips a jab and a cross from Togo.
Togo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harinck works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Togo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Harinck if he has to take too many more of those.

Oooooh!!! Harinck has knocked Togo down with a huge combo! Harinck steps away and waves a wobbly Togo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Togo is still on wobbly legs! Can Harinck finish him?
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Togo might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Harinck has got the better of the exchanges.
