Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yewis Mybitch (ranked 2449 p4p, 279 weight class) and Ricardo Cruz (ranked 1246 p4p, 165 weight class). Mybitch comes to the cage accompanied by Like a Stone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mybitch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cruz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cruz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cruz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cruz working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cruz pushes down on Mybitch's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mybitch is trying to stand back up but Cruz is controlling him
Mybitch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cruz on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cruz controlling the pace.
Cruz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Cruz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Cruz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mybitch is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
