Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins misses with a two punch combination.
Collins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A nice combination there by Collins .
Collins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Collins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Irvin blocks a head kick by Collins .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irvin throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Collins misses.
Irvin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
No joy there for Collins , who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Collins lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Collins stuns Irvin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Collins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Collins moves out of range as Irvin throws a body kick.
Collins looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Collins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Collins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Irvin on the side of the head.
Irvin looks for the body kick but Collins saw that one coming.
Collins moves out of range of the body kick.
Collins went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Collins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A solid leg kick lands there for Collins .
Collins scores with a jab.
Irvin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Irvin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Steve Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Collins is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Irvin is in big trouble! Collins is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Irvin. Poor guy.
