Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bill Bungalow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gold Man!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man wants to clinch but Bungalow slips to the side

and Bungalow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Man's guard.

Man has his foot on Bungalow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bungalow works his way back into a safe position though.

Bungalow gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bungalow closes the distance and clinches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ground and pound from Bungalow.
Bungalow working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bungalow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Man defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bungalow is working away from the top position though.

Bungalow looking for a submission but Man manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bungalow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Man should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

and Bungalow counters with a nice double leg into side control. Man won't be happy with that.
Bungalow is looking to take a break and control but Man is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Man avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bungalow.
Bungalow cracks Man with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Man parries the strikes from Bungalow easily there. Bungalow is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Man to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bungalow connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Man some visible discomfort.
Man takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Bungalow looks up at the clock and then as Man takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bungalow smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Bungalow is looking to pass into half guard but Man pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Man is in guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bungalow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Man's guard.

Bungalow postures up in Man's guard and throws a big left but Man blocks it.

Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bungalow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bungalow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bungalow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bungalow is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Man still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Man has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Bungalow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bungalow tries to get out of the position.

Well Bungalow has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
