Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krungthep Suwanpakdee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kay Teptrom!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teptrom throws a lazy right hand but Suwanpakdee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Teptrom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suwanpakdee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suwanpakdee checks the leg kick nicely there.
Teptrom keeps the fight on the outside.
Suwanpakdee fails with an attempt to clinch.
And Teptrom tries to counter it with a takedown but Suwanpakdee pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Suwanpakdee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Teptrom swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Suwanpakdee drops Teptrom with a nice combination! Suwanpakdee dives into Teptrom's guard, looking to finish!
Suwanpakdee wanted to stand there but Teptrom had control of the position.
Suwanpakdee is fighting to break Teptrom's control of his arms but Teptrom is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Suwanpakdee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Teptrom on the ground.

Teptrom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suwanpakdee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Teptrom is looking for a triangle but Suwanpakdee pushes his legs off easily.
Suwanpakdee wanted to stand there but Teptrom had control of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Suwanpakdee wants to stand and escape but instead Teptrom has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Suwanpakdee can't keep his opponent in guard - Teptrom advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Suwanpakdee wants to get back to his feet.
Teptrom with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Suwanpakdee is looking to escape.
Teptrom uses his free foot to push down on Suwanpakdee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Suwanpakdee.

It looks like Teptrom might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Teptrom has isolated one of Suwanpakdee's arms. Suwanpakdee looking to fight him off but Teptrom twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
