Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xi Li (ranked 3068 p4p, 347 weight class) and Ryu Cool (ranked 5003 p4p, 519 weight class). Li kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HYFR by Drake featuring Lil Wayne. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Cool!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li sizes up Cool with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Li takes a swing at Cool's ribcage but misses.
Cool changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Cool shoots in but Li avoids the takedown attempt easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cool.
Li circles away from the clinch attempt.
Li misses with a few strikes there.
Cool tries to clinch there but Li circles away.
Cool wants to clinch.
Li swats away the attempt to clinch by Cool.
Cool moves out of range as Li throws a body kick.
Cool shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Li but Li pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Xi Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryu Cool.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cool throws a body punch but Li moves out of range.
Li connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Li misses with the combination.
Cool pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Li appears to be looking for a big counter.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cool crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Li - the referee stops the clock and Cool gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Li. Cool manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Li cracks a nice hook into Cool's ribs.
Xi Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li throws a head kick but Cool moves out of range.
Li throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ryu Cool has been cut.
Cool tries to close the distance and clinch up but Li swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Li scores with a head kick.

Cool is rocked!
Li looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Li backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Cool's temple! It sends Cool violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Li celebrates and the doctors try to help Cool!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Xi Li!
Post fight, Xi Li took to the microphone: 'I'm winning this tournament. Remember my name!!'.
