Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luss Rittle (ranked 6197 p4p, 458 weight class) and Jeronimo Seagal (ranked 23715 p4p, 505 weight class). Jeronimo Seagal will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeronimo Seagal!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagal walks into a jab.
Seagal works the jab nicely.
Seagal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A combination from Rittle does no damage.
Rittle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Seagal tries to clinch there but Rittle circles away.
Seagal throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Seagal moves into range and connects with a jab.
Seagal wants to clinch.
Seagal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rittle seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A slow jab from Seagal misses its intended target.
Rittle avoids the head kick by Seagal.
Seagal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rittle's head backwards.
Seagal is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rittle avoids the body shot from Seagal.

Rittle has Seagal up against the cage in a clinch.

Rittle breaks the clinch.

Seagal takes a swing at Rittle's ribcage but misses.
Jeronimo Seagal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seagal misses with a looping right.
A head kick misses from Seagal.
Seagal swings away with a body shot that misses

and Rittle counters with a crisp one two that drops Seagal! Rittle thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Seagal to his feet! Seagal is in big trouble!

Seagal is rocked!
Seagal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rittle circles away quickly and effectively.
Seagal is still on wobbly legs! Can Rittle finish him?

Rittle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Seagal to the mat! Seagal manages to get full guard.
Rittle showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Seagal seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rittle working some strikes from top position.
Rittle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seagal swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rittle stands up and waves to Seagal to follow him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rittle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rittle rushes Seagal and presses him up against the cage.
Rittle is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Seagal to keep the fight standing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rittle lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Seagal or not.
Seagal wants to break the clinch but can't.
Seagal wants to break free but Rittle has control.
Seagal wants to get back to striking at distance but Rittle won't allow it.
Seagal has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Seagal can't break the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Seagal gets underhooks to prevent Rittle's takedown attempt.
Seagal wants to break the clinch but can't.
Seagal tries to break the clinch but Rittle is controlling the position.
Rittle is working Seagal over against the cage.

Rittle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Seagal uses from the top position.
Seagal is looking to stand up but Rittle won't let him.
Seagal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rittle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rittle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Rittle continues to stall.

Seagal has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rittle to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Seagal is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rittle pulls down on the head and he's put Seagal to sleep! This one is all over!
