Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 2244 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Marques (ranked 1922 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques has chosen Raining Blood as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn Jr moves forwards but Marques connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Benn Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Marques's shoulder, as Marques tries to avoid the shot.
Benn Jr's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Benn Jr duly obliges.
Marques throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We've been told by Benn Jr's head coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Benn Jr looks to land a combination but Marques avoids it well.
Benn Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marques moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marques unleashes a big counter combination but Benn Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Marques has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
