Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corban Storm (ranked 218 p4p, 34 weight class) and Arron Asham (ranked 342 p4p, 50 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asham throws a right and a left that both miss.
Storm seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Storm throws a low kick but it's checked well by Asham.
Storm throws out a loose jab but Asham uses good head movement to avoid it.

It looked like Storm was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Asham.
Storm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Asham has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Asham is pressed up against the cage. Storm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Asham down to the mat. Asham avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Storm, as that shot connected.
Asham takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Storm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Corban Storm will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Storm is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Asham looks to land a combination but Storm avoids it well.
Asham misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Storm.

Storm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Asham swivels and escapes.

Storm on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Arron Asham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Corban Storm.
I think Storm has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
