Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Holey (ranked 2216 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nusrat Baigan (ranked 2275 p4p, 238 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Holey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nusrat Baigan!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holey fails in his attempt to clinch.
Holey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Baigan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Baigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holey tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Baigan manages to circle out of the way.
Holey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Baigan can pounce on him.
Holey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Baigan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Holey in his tracks.
Baigan scores with the left hand. Holey knows he should have avoided that one.
Baigan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Baigan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Baigan feints a jab promting Holey to slip. Baigan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Holey slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Holey walks forward, straight into a front kick from Baigan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baigan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Baigan throws a nice head kick!
Holey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Holey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Holey fails to land the takedown.
Baigan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Baigan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Baigan connects with a solid leg kick.
Holey tries to clinch but Baigan moves away
and Baigan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Holey needs to keep his hands up - Baigan had a free shot at his head there.
Baigan lands a jab.

Holey is rocked!
Baigan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Holey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Baigan lands a nice hook to Holey's body. Holey takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Baigan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Baigan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Holey had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Holey drops his hands momentarily and Baigan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Oh Holey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baigan as he avoids it easily.
Holey seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Holey. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Holey tries to clinch there but Baigan circles away.

and Baigan counters with an outside leg kick.
Holey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Baigan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Holey throws a head kick that misses.
Baigan punishes Holey's body with a nice straight punch.
Holey tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Baigan connects with a leg kick. Holey looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Baigan connects with a body shot.
Baigan cracks Holey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Baigan digs a good body shot into Holey's ribs.

Holey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Holey is breathing heavily.
Baigan scores with a jab to the jaw.

Baigan takes the fight into the clinch.
Holey tries to break the clinch but Baigan is controlling the position.

Baigan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baigan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Holey throws a combination that misses
and Baigan counters with a thumping low kick.
Holey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Baigan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Baigan moves into the clinch.
Baigan digs a right hand underneath Holey's ribcage. Holey let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right handed body shot lands from Baigan.
Baigan lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Holey taking a breather.
Baigan is pressed up against the cage. Holey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Baigan down to the mat. Baigan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Baigan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nusrat Baigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baigan rushes Holey and presses him up against the cage.
Holey is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A short uppercut from Baigan.
Baigan working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Baigan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Holey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Baigan smiles and moves away.
Baigan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Holey on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Baigan.
Baigan scores with a jab to the jaw.
Holey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Baigan appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Baigan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Baigan lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Baigan lands a big head kick that sends Holey tumbling to the mat! Baigan takes a step backwards and waves Holey back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Baigan thuds a left hand into Holey's body.
Holey takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Baigan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Holey if he has to take too many more of those.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nusrat Baigan dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Baigan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Baigan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Holey. That did some damage!
Holey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baigan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Baigan counters with a left and a right that stings Holey.
Holey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baigan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Holey somewhat.
Holey looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Baigan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Holey! Baigan dives in looking to finish! Holey is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
