Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anti Half Assed (ranked 691 p4p, 108 weight class) and Tigran Minasian (ranked 1152 p4p, 164 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tigran Minasian!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Minasian closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Half Assed.
Half Assed misses with a punch to the body.

Half Assed manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Half Assed looking for a guillotine here but Minasian defends easily.

Minasian stands up and waves to Half Assed to follow him.
Half Assed loads up on a big right hand but Minasian slips the punch.
Minasian dives in for a single leg takedown but Half Assed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Minasian looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Minasian shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Half Assed defends it nicely.
Anti Half Assed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tigran Minasian.

Half Assed throws the left hand but Minasian avoids the punch easily.
Minasian wants to counter the offense by Half Assed and move into the clinch position.

Minasian drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Half Assed's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Half Assed trying to keep a closed guard but Minasian is proving a slippery customer.

Half Assed has his foot on Minasian's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Minasian works his way back into a safe position though.

Minasian wants to take a breather but Half Assed is having none of it.
Minasian wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Half Assed uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Half Assed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Minasian defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Half Assed is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Minasian has his hands clasped together but Half Assed extends and breaks Minasian's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Half Assed.
